Exchange Programs

The Faculty of Humanities is incorporated in an international network of research and study partnerships. The collaboration with partner universities offers our students the possibility to enhance their individual professional skills, to extend their knowledge of foreign languages, and to expand their intercultural competencies. Depending on the subject and the exchange destination, there are numerous funding opportunities that help the students to finance their stay abroad. The ERASMUS+ programme as well as the WORLDWIDE programme allow our students to study at one of our partner universities within or outside Europe for one or two semesters. On top of that the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD funds students and graduates in various disciplines, including from abroad. The range comprises over 200 programmes and projects in all countries of the world, for example year-long and short scholarships, short-term study visits, language course grants, and grants for specialist courses.
